Today we take a break from business as usual to remember the 3,408 lives that were lost on this day 19 years ago. A moment is never promised but we will never forget the sacrifices made on this day by the brave first responders who rushed into ground zero, the souls trapped on planes that would soon find their fate, the workers that were just settling into their offices for their workday and the hero's who attempted to take over the aircraft that would eventually crash in Pennsylvania.
